Lineup and Details for Liverpool's Independent Venues - Screening and panel

Join us as we explore the cyclical nature of Liverpool's ever evolving use of independent venues and spaces and the challenges presented to the artists, promoters and patrons that utilise them.

We've been working on a mini documentary featuring interviews with a wide variety of protagonists from within the music scene of the city, it focuses on the familiar themes of how over-development, licensing and the financial constraints of promoting music events effects Liverpool’s creative community - and what makes the city thrive despite them.

By no means offering a definitive take on the issue, the video will be backed up by a panel featuring music industry experts which aims to discuss exactly why Liverpool continues to defiantly boast one of the best music scenes in the world.

Becky Wild - Managing Director, Constellations
Chris Torpey - Editor, Bido Lito
Kevin McManus - Head of UNESCO City of Music
David Pichilingi - Sound City / Modern Sky
Rich O'Flynn - Musician, All We Are

The panel will be moderated by Skiddle's Becca Frankland.

Limited free drinks will be available.
